Start with the chest measurement, then check the back length. XS to 9XL covers different body shapes; a breed name alone isn’t a size.

  1. Chest. Measure all the way around the widest point, just behind the front legs.
  2. Back. Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail while standing.
  3. A little room. These are garment dimensions. Allow room around the chest and check the back length. If between sizes, choose the size that gives enough chest room.
